Phil’s flower power raises $17,000
An exhibition by photographer Phil Groves raised $17,000 for the AIDS Trust, the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation and Melbourne’s David Williams Fund.
Groves donated all of his large flower photos to raise money for the charities, at an exhibition sponsored by Roche.
The opening night was attended by Home And Away actress and Dancing With The Stars performer Rebecca Cartwright.
He is hoping to get the figure up to about $30,000 by staging other events in the next couple of months.
