Sam Sparro to play Harbour Party

New Mardi Gras (NMG) today announced the exciting addition of Sam Sparro to an already stellar line-up at Harbour ’09.

Sparro comes on board as the pop world’s latest out gay star and is famous for his debonair charm and funky music style that makes him a perfect fit for the glamorous Harbour-side event.

Sparro’s phenomenal success includes UK no. 2 single and internationally lauded single Black & Gold, as well as a gold-selling self titled debut album.

The Australian-born singer has been nominated for a Grammy and five ARIA awards, and will join a sensational line-up of Kate Monroe, Alex Taylor, Peyton, Shigeki and Stephen Allkins at this year’s Harbour ’09.

Sam Sparro adds the final touch to this year’s already exciting Harbour ’09 New Mardi Gras chair David Imrie said.

His iconic status in the gay community, and legendary performances around the world, make him an obvious choice for the event, and we expect a fantastic turn-out for this show.
