Sydney’s tireless drag queens once again did us proud at the opening ceremony. Vanessa Wagner introduced each country, while Portia Turbo got the audience to do a Mexican wave with a new twist by having everyone call out her name. Other showgirls took to the stage for the pompom number and for the final act, So Fabulous, So Fierce.
