Sleaze may hamper gay protest
Organisers of Sunday’s gay rights rally are urging Sleaze party-goers to treat the protest as a recovery, amidst concern Saturday night’s party will keep prospective protestors away.
Community Action Against Homophobia, who organised the rally, is sending out the message, “If you’re recovering from Sleaze, come and recover at the rally.”
They will also be approaching people as they walk into Sleaze and “talking about prioritising coming down earlier, perhaps”, CAAH spokesperson Rachael Evans said.
