Stars sparkle brightly as La Nuit by Sofitel arrives in Sydney

The grand opening of Sydney’s latest luxury hotel has seen Sydney’s celebrities and VIPs kick up their heels at an ultra-chic “black and white” dress code party.

The new five-star Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour hosted a La Nuit spectacular in their glamorous Champagne Bar.

DJ Clement of Collette Paris fame was flown in from Paris, and kept the crowd entertained while guests dined on delicate canapes from Executive Chef Matt Coates, and drank Louis Roederer by Philippe Stark 2009 Champagne.

While the Parisian style extravagance of La Nuit certainly dazzled the VIP guests, the real star of the occasion was the new hotel itself.

Centrally located opposite the International Convention Centre, the $500 million five-star hotel boasts spectacular views of Sydney’s Darling Harbour and CBD skyline.

This summer, the infinity pool and the hotel’s Le Rivage Pool Bar will definitely be a popular places to kick back and enjoy the scenery.

Star Observer readers are being offered great deals on stays at the new Sofitel Darling Harbour to celebrate the opening.

The Grand Opening Package, which includes a Superior Darling Harbour room, breakfast for two, Champagne degustation at the Champagne Bar, and late checkout is priced from $519. Visit www.sofitelsydneydarlingharbour.com.au for details and bookings.
