Yes, yes -“ love, longing, girls gone, girls found and the celebration of life and music. The four little button-nosed boys from Human Nature are taking on the big issues on their latest Walk the Tightrope. As a boy-band for young girls in shopping centres the Nature are easy to pay out, but anyone who saw them doing Wham’s I’m Your Man at Sleaze a couple of years ago knows they’re actually kind of cool on some strange level. Walk the Tightrope is a predictable mix of ballad and soft-core R’n’B. If you’re looking for fun, go straight to track ten Life Just Gets Better, or just keep your ears open on the dancefloor for a couple of weeks. Anyway, it doesn’t matter what anyone says about Human Nature, they’re a big fat boy band formula success. It’s not fine art, but it sells. Walk the Tightrope is at number 12 on the ARIA charts in its first week and the first single from the album When You Say You Love Me is about to burst into the top ten. If you’re going to buy it, at least get the special edition. It’s got even more Human Nature -“ a video, some behind the scenes footage and a couple of computer wallpapers.
