Well hung
The latest exhibition at gallery onefivesix features neckpieces by thirty studio jewellery designers. Works showing during Nex(t) include a sash of velvet with antique buttons, a lasso of thread spun from plastic shopping bags and a neckpiece of slate, silver and stainless steel cable. Gallery onefivesix is Sydney’s only gallery specialising in contemporary studio jewellery, and is located at 156 Commonwealth Street, Surry Hills. Nex(t) runs until 25 May, and the gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm.
