Youth literature for Mardi Gras
It’s not very often you come across a book aimed at young readers that features queer characters. That’s one reason why Alasdair Duncan, 21, was inspired to write his critically acclaimed debut novel Sushi Central, about a 16-year-old gay guy living in Brisbane.
