ALSO Foundation CEO quits

In an unexpected move, ALSO Foundation chief executive officer, Lyn Morgain has announced she will be stepping down from her position.
ALSO Foundation president, Jason Rostant said today the board had reluctantly accepted her resignation.
“We thank her for her commitment and professionalism, which has served the organisation and community well.”
Morgain, who has been in the position for three years, will see out her role until the end of October.
A leader in the community for some time, Morgain was also recently appointed to the International Lesbian and Gay Association executive board representing the Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Island region.
Her position will be advertised in the coming weeks.
