Victorian Election candidates discuss strengthening the LGBTI community

THE latest Victorian Election Meet the Candidates video from the Victorian Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby, Pride TV and Star Observer looks at strengthening the LGBTI community, capacity and engagement in politics.

In the video, VGLRL co-convener Corey Irlam asks candidates how their party will address strengthening and increasing LGBTI presence in government and how they will achieve this.

Responses come from Labor’s Martin Foley, the Sex Party’s Fiona Patten, the Greens’ Kalthleen Maltzahn, and the Liberal’s Shannon Eeles.

  1. I am an straight Albert Park District voter who supports gay marriage. In the top photo Foley looks bored while the 3 women look interested. Foley came poorly prepared for the recent transport forum too. I have early voted and I put Foley last.
