The It Gets Better campaign is set to be debuted in regional New South Wales on Friday, December 16 at the CODE Newcastle party.

It Gets Better has organised an Australian division and has set about launching the organisation and its cause to the nation through a series of launch parties. CODE is regional NSW’s official launch party and will be held at King Street Hotel.

Event-goers will also be given the opportunity to create their own It Gets Better video between 7pm-9pm during an exclusive cocktail party in the venue. Videos will be submitted to the organisation’s website.

There will also be performances by Wil Sabin, drag queens and DJs including Murray Hood (Homesexual, Mardi Gras and The Midnight Shift), James Tobin (ARQ, Stonewall & The Midnight Shift), Shalyn Grey (ARQ, Bank Hotel, Imperial & Gateway Hotel) and the winner of Mardi Gras Spin-off competition, DJ Buvid.

All proceeds from the evening will be donated to Twenty10, a charity which focuses on supporting youth, families and communities from diverse gender backgrounds and sexualities in New South Wales

Tickets are on sale for $15 + BF through Moshtix.com.au
