No More Idols (Tour Edition) – Chase & Status
British drum ’n’ bass/dubstep duo Chase and Status imbue their dance sounds with a pop sensibility — they’ve even contributed to both of Rihanna’s most recent albums. This, their sophomore effort, was one of the highlights of last year, and now comes in an expanded CD/DVD edition.
The original album is a diverse mix with a stellar cast of guests — from frenetic opener No Problem, they traverse ’90s diva wailing (Blind Faith), hip-hop (Hitz) and trip-hop (Midnight Caller), with singers including Ceelo Green, Plan B and Clare Maguire.
With the newly-added DVD, fans get to see a full live concert at the Brixton Academy plus seven of the album’s music videos.
