Paul Turner – Another World
Singer-songwriter Paul Turner’s second album is a brief, stripped-back collection, clocking in at under 30 minutes, and for most of that time featuring little more than Turner’s voice and his acoustic guitar pluckings. Another World is a small treat for fans of laidback acoustica in the vein of Jack Johnson or Ben Harper. The New Zealander came to music relatively late in life, and his songs are imbued with an appealing wisdom and world-weariness.
