Pluto’s intense period of retrograde

When a planet is at 29Ëš or 0Ëš of a star sign, that planet is at its most intense. We have learnt that when a planet is retrograding it also creates an intense retrospection.

Pluto has been retrograding and hovering around 29Ëš and 0Ëš since December last year. The effect this is having on us is akin to a washing machine cleaning dirty laundry.

In Pluto’s case it is clearing our psyche of its debris build-up -“ and this is important because we’ve been feeding our mind with old, worn-out self-defeating belief systems that don’t serve us any more.

This process can be a painful one, but only if you try to hold on to the past. The best way through this challenging time is to face yourself with absolute honesty.

It sounds heavy and serious but, for those of you who have been taking responsibility thus far, you will grow and prosper faster than those who are trying to take the easy route.

Aries

There’s no need to feel insecure about the position you are in. If you are feeling it, try to draw on your strength and determination. There’s a challenge between work and home where you’ll need to reevaluate a few things. This is a time when you’ll need to rely on yourself to get through it.

Taurus

Most of you will be feeling pressure about what direction you are taking in life. This is nothing new, but the difference now is you are narrowing down the choices. If your career involves communication of some sort, travel or study are options in the near future, or merely just expansion on what you’ve got.

Gemini

The new moon brings a new chapter for you where money, resources, talents and self-worth are concerned. The universe is still asking you to put in effort, but it’s supporting you nonetheless. We need to struggle sometimes in order to come through the other end stronger, smarter and more confident.

Cancer

Have you learned how to really value yourself and the value you can offer to others? Empowering and nurturing others comes naturally to you, but doesn’t always happen naturally in reverse. So why not try it and see the benefit in mutual exchanges and observe how it makes you feel. You’re worth it too.

Last week we spoke about unlocking secrets and repressed thoughts/feelings. This still continues and, if you’ve been forging ahead with it, you’ll have noticed differences in your self-expression. Your creativity will have benefited also. Further to that, you’ll have noticed people reacting to you differently too.

Virgo

Make a wish on the new moon today as it takes place in your 11th solar house of hopes and wishes. This is also the area of friends and networks so there could be some changes here too. As Mars enters your sign your energy levels, determination and drive will surge. Go ahead and feel good -“ there’s no catch.

Libra

Make sure you are able to maintain some balance between work and home. Given this balancing act, your health will be impacted if not taken care of. Personal time is important as Mars enters your 12th solar house of the subconscious, so you are advised to attend to all parts of your life and not repress or ignore because of lack of time.

Scorpio

Be patient and learn all you can about a particular circumstance before you act on assumptions and make it worse. You may think you have it worked out, but if you are wrong you could cause more harm than good. Learning processes take time and time is on your side. It’s more about the journey than the destination.

Sagittarius

Some great opportunities will present themselves to exercise your personal power. Whether it’s career, friends or other aspects of life, you will see what you are capable of. It’s time to be an individual and not be restricted or inhibited by anything. If it’s your mother, an old relationship, social pressures or your own doing, don’t look at it as an obstacle. Rather, see it as nothing more than a simple learning tool from which to build strength and knowledge.
