Attention, female tennis lovers — an error in this year’s official Mardi Gras guide meant the Amazon Tennis Social Day was listed as happening on Sunday, March 6. It’s actually scheduled for exactly a week earlier, on Sunday, February 27.
If you’re looking to get back into tennis or have always wanted to play, then join the Amazons for their annual mega-social day. It’s an excellent opportunity for new and interested players to give the sport a go and meet like-minded people.
The format is social doubles and all ages and levels are welcome. From the absolute beginner to rusty enthusiasts to advanced players, you’ll be playing people of your own level.
It’s happening from 3-6pm on February 27 at the Newington College Tennis Courts in Stanmore. The cost is $15 full, $10 concession.
