Indoor rock-climbing is a great way to get active as the weather cools. Melbourne rock-climbing group for lesbian and bisexual women Les Rock is holding several climbing events in the coming days.

The social indoor and outdoor rock-climbing group started in 2007 for women who like to participate in the sport in an inclusive environment. A strong showing at this year’s Pride March in St Kilda indicates the group has a firm following.

Les Rock is open to any skill level, from beginners to advanced, and meets on Monday nights. The group climbs for around two hours and then usually goes to a nearby pub or restaurant to socialise.

The next climbing events are on March 28 at Hardrock, Swanston St and on April 4 at the Lactic Factory, Abbotsford.
