Rug up with the Nomads

The Nomads gay men’s outdoors group will wrap up their winter series of events over the next month, starting with their social night on Tuesday, August 2 where members can talk about upcoming events, compare notes and float ideas about future activities.

The rest of the month will see the rugged outdoorsmen tackle the St Kilda to Williamstown walk and cruise, and the two bays walking track, which starts at the summit of Arthurs Seat on the Mornington Peninsula.
From Sunday, August 14, the boys will embark on a five-day ski trip to Falls Creek, which will include the option to extend this time to include either the weekend prior or after. This will be a downhill ski, snowboard and cross-country ski week.

For those wishing to stay local, there is also the Nomads city lanes, alleys and arcades walk on Saturday, August 13. It will finish with a traditional afternoon tea served by Victorian Railways in their centrally located tea rooms.

The boys will head to Hanging Rock in September, before their summer planning begins.
