Showcase your sport at Mardi Gras

Applications are now open for sporting teams and organisations to participate in the 2012 Mardi Gras Sports Festival.

New Mardi Gras has again joined with Team Sydney to deliver a sports program that showcases sports culture in Sydney during the festival, with Team Sydney managing the application process on behalf of NMG.

Applications need to be submitted to Team Sydney by 5pm, Friday, September 23. They will then be assessed by the festival team.

All applicants will be notified by email whether their event has been included on Monday, October 10. Applicants who have been included will also receive an Event Details form via email. This form collects the event description, dates, times and details that will be included in the Festival Guide, as well as on Team Sydney’s website.

The Event Details form (and imagery for the Festival Guide) must be returned by 4pm, Friday, October 21.

New Mardi Gras set out a $30 non-refundable fee per application, and a $50 basic fee per sporting event. Team Sydney hopes to cover both fees, but will advise on whether payment is necessary on submission of applications.
