Nigerian Student “Disproves” Homosexuality, With Magnets

science-1

A student in Nigeria is claiming that he can prove that gay marriage is wrong through science. His scientific “breakthrough,” a magnetic experiment proving that homosexuality is “improper,” has been backed by his university.

The student, Chibuihem Amalaha, says that his “groundbreaking” experiments show the north and south poles of two magnets are attracted to each other, while the same poles repel each other.

He concludes this “means that man cannot attract another man because they are the same, and a woman should not attract a woman because they are the same. That is how I used physics to prove gay marriage wrong”.

His other high-school standard experiments include showing that negative ions are attracted to positive ones in the process of electrolysis. “That is what electrolysis is showing us, that gay marriage is wrong in the area of chemistry,” he states.

Despite widespread evidence that homosexuality is common in nature, Amalaha further insists that biology also indicates that same-sex attraction is unnatural.

“We have seen that the female of a fowl is called hen and the male of a fowl is called a cock. We have never seen where a cock is having sex with a cock and we have never seen where a hen is having sex with another.”

Amalaha claims that he’s the first person in the world to scientifically show that same-sex marriage is wrong, adding “In general, same sex marriage is evil. It should be stopped by those practicing it”.

  1. But basic iron is magnetized equally both ways. That’s why it’s attracted to either side of the magnet. Maybe magnets aren’t homosexual but iron sure is bisexual.

  2. But if you have a stack of identical magnets, they will all align with north-seeking poles aimed at the next magnet’s south-seeking poles, thus PROVING gay marriage. Well, at least a gay guys’s conga line, anyway.

  3. I’ve just run an experiment in my lab that proves homosexuality is natural. I put oil and water in a beaker, and no matter how hard I beat it, they just keep separating. The water is attracted to the water, and the oil to the oil. Personally, I think the oil is hydrophobic!

  4. Bah, I got this one way back when I couldn’t plug a male plug into another male plug IT JUST DOESNT WORK GUYS.

  5. Tell me, mister scientist man, If you join a tiny positive magnet to a large negative magnet, is that ok? Because im wondering why you are wasting time on this experiment when you should be putting your time to better use…like, i dunno, maybe convincing people that having sex with children and babbies wont cure your AIDS!!

  6. i totally call bullshit on this article.. I think the picture is fake, i think the story (although I do believe there are some universities out there who would support it) is fake as well..

Just another story that us gays get to attack someone. There is no real credible source or proof.

it’s a shame people are quick to jump on the hate wagon without looking in to it too much. A little contradicting as that is what real Homophobes are doing to us.

  7. I always thought the earth was flat. Now with this scientist Amalaha I have been convinced that the earth is flat. I marvel at the high standard of sciences that is practiced & published in Lagos & who is his tutor????

  8. He also fails to mention that magnets are made of metal which comes from the ground. The ground contains gravity and that’s they why stick together. The northern end is metal from the northern hemisphere, and the southern end is metal from the southern hemisphere.

  9. This proves beyond doubt that those that are opposed to gay marriage are inherently stupid. This is how desperate they are getting.

  10. Amazing research! wow! Why not pushing this revolutionary concept even more : would this imply that a nigerian should not have sex with a nigerian because they are the same and it is wrong? Lol

  11. If he was a true scientist he would know you can’t question love. It is a dangerous and unknown chemical when toyed with by anyone else but the original creator of that love. In other words get fucked and let people choose their own fate :)

  12. Why are you doing this to us,Starobserver? I really feel offended by this. Clearly there was no experiment in this story to begin with, besides nothing can be proven right or wrong by science (not even armed robbery or rape). But I’m curious, what made you consider this story newsworthy? Was it the naivety of the student or the backing of the university? Anyway I must admit that I too have never seen a cockerel mating with a cockerel. If it happens it would be an anomaly and certainly isn’t as common sight as humanity would have homosexuality. Sorry if that hurts your feelings, just couldn’t help it. Besides, you started it!

  13. That research certainly reveals a LOT about the stellar quality of education at Lagos and is sure to rock the scientific community from Harvard to Oxford.

Of course, this discovery can be traced all the way back to the Earth’s beginning, proven beyond shadow of a doubt to have taken place some 6,000 years ago when Adam and Eve’s offspring incestuously begat the entire 7 billion human race after parental interlocution by a talking snake. It has been conclusively proven, beyond shadow of a doubt, that God didn’t create Steve – some other God is out there, making all the Steves.

As has also been scientifically proven many many many many times, beyond shadow of a doubt, opinion is automatically converted into fact when it is typed out and printed under the imprimatur of the University of Lagos.

I quail at the prospect of meeting such a luminary, on a fast track to professorship.

  14. This story is hogwash. What is the name of the Nigerian University? Like-poles-repel while unlike-poles-attract is thought to Nigerian students in elementary school. I think star observer is just putting up fillers here cos real journalism is beyond them and I am surprised that their readers cant discern this.

  15. I just can’t stop laughing!!! As an engineer I can’t believe any university would be foolish enough to openly back such experiment.

At the same time I think it’s hilarious how Amalaha ignores how his skin-colour was considered an anomaly only a few years ago… what magnets would he have used to prove them wrong then I wonder… and why is he holding a chemistry glass bottle with a red fluid? That’s not even part of his magnificent experiment! Thanks for the laughs Amalaha, your contribution to science has changed the course of human evolution
