Tracey Ullman – Move Over Darling

For a couple of years in the mid-80s, before her career as a comedian took off, Tracey Ullman was a pop star, with a brief but successful stint at British record label Stiff, compiled in its entirety here. While her vocal talent was questionable, her material wasn’t — largely, covers of ‘60s girl-pop classics given an ‘80s power-pop sheen. Best of all are the songs late singer-songwriter Kirsty MacColl gifted her, including her biggest hit, the pure pop perfection of They Don’t Know.
