Twitter marriage rights forum
Former NSW premier Kristina Keneally will be one of a panel of special guest contributors in a live Twitter forum on marriage equality, taking place from 8-9pm this Thursday, September 29.
Keneally recently outlined her support for same-sex marriage on ABC TV’s Q and A and in an article in Eureka Street magazine.
“If we accept that heterosexual people who are physically unable to have children are able to express themselves in physical acts, why then aren’t people who God created with a homosexual orientation able to do the same?” Keneally wrote in Eureka Street in response to religious disapproval of same-sex relationships.
Keneally will be joined by Star Observer publisher Scott Abrahams, drag puppet Queen Miss Left Titter and other special guest contributors on the Twitter forum. Supporters of same-sex marriage will discuss methods, ideas and tools that should be used to get the message across, upcoming events people can help with, and their thoughts on the campaign and on marriage.
Events company Toro Productions using @_ToroProduction will host the session and participants will use the hashtag #Equality.
Event organisers will compile reports on the achievements of the forum including reach, positive versus negative mentions, highlights of the forum, impressions and exposure.
The forum comes after the Buck$ Night and Dirty Hen$ parties raised around $15,000 for the marriage equality campaign and Australian Marriage Equality shot a soon-to-be-broadcast TV commercial inside the Sydney Town Hall staring Geoff Field, Mia Freedman, Dave Graham, Carl Katter, Natalie Tran, Geoff Thomas, Julie McCrossin and hundreds of volunteers.
Dave, exactly what poll shows that majority of christians support Gay Marriage? Many on line polls are inaccurate and able to be altered!
Ed: Oliver, we’ll help you out. It was a poll done by national polling agency Galaxy (you know, the ones that do political opinion polling)

Kristina Keneally is one of many Catholics helping us achieve the same freedoms as others. I thank her for her efforts.
Poll after poll shows the majority of Christians support our quest to live as freely as the next person. They support Marriage Equality, and want us to be treated equally.
