Is bigger better?

Is bigger better?

My life is either so exciting that time flies or I am so old I just can’t remember what happened last week. Either way, can you believe it is already that time of the year when all the queers head to the Blue Mountains for the Queen’s Birthday weekend?

This year is bigger than the last with pinkFEST commencing on Friday June 11 with the bentART exhibition. They might even feature the plaster cast mouldings I made last week during a sexy night in with a handful of blue diamond pills.

Saturday night June 12 is set to be another night to remember with the Blackheath dance and talent quest. Again the host has offered to do it for nothing — and it’s not even a charity event! The talent quest is looking a little shaky — or is that the contestants in their heels? Either way, there will no doubt be entertainment to amuse you all!

If we’re super lucky, we might even see a scene similar to Heather Mills on Dancing with the Stars.

For all the events featured during pinkFEST please visit their website at www.pinkmountain.com.au/pinkfest

For a night out following the long weekend, come to Heaven’s charity night on Saturday June 19 at the Northmead Bowling Club and help raise money for the western suburbs plus celebrate our third birthday.

Last year Heaven raised almost $2000 for the Western Suburbs Haven. This year we are raising money to support many other GLBT organisations out west, with all funds taken on the door to be distributed by ACON West.

The night will be filled with three big shows at 10pm, 11pm and midnight with 15 drag queens — so come along and help raise even more money this year! Entry is $10 and a big thank you to Acacia’s Catering and Sydney Star Observer for supporting the night.

Some exciting news for the girls out west — a new social dance supported by the Lesbian Social Group will start up in Parramatta on the last Friday of each month at Hotel Parramatta.

Kaleidoscope Social Dance will start on July 30 and is sure to please with its pool tables and female/male dancers.

Their early-night speed dating might even find you Miss or Ms Right.

Drag gossip: There will be gossip a-plenty following the fundraising event for DIVA at Slide on Friday June 11.

With a room full of drags queens aged from 18 to 80 you just know that some feathers will fly! Which A-grade will and which won’t attend?

Go along to see — at least I will be there!

Until next time gorgeous!
