It started with a Pink

It all started a couple of months ago at a Pink concert at the Entertainment Centre. The concert was fabulous, but I was awestruck by how awesome Pink looked.
Something clicked as I watched the muscular creature fly around the room to the cheers of the crowd … that’s what I want to look like (well, as close as I can get without surgery!).
As soon as the concert was over I started formulating my plan to achieve that goal.
And I have the perfect venue to unveil the results of my hard work — Sleaze Ball … Game On.
A few months on and progress is being made. Six days of cardio and three weights sessions a week and I am feeling fabulous.
There’s been no alcohol and plenty of healthy food …. so the only problem left is what the hell am I going to wear.
Costumes are always the hardest decision and my mind seems to race whenever I start thinking about sporty outfits (wonder why!!).
Netball, ice skating and basketball have been ruled out for various reasons — but then Game On opens up a lot more options than just sport.
I’ve been thinking computer games (Pac Man), chess, card games, Old Maid, Barrel of Monkeys, Janga — the list is endless when you apply this logic.
I did think about pumping myself up as a female body builder complete with the huge hair, nails, bikini and orange skin. I’m not sure what turned me off this idea, but it has been put on the backburner.
Then I considered going looking like professional wrestler China Doll — complete with wrestling mat for any last-minute rolls on the ground — but she is also appearing on Sober House and I don’t want to give people the wrong idea.
So what does that leave? Well, all I will tell you is that there is lycra involved. Big hair is a given, and I am also toying with taking along a prop.
But with a few weeks to go I still have time to change my mind or make some last-minute alterations.
You never know, I may surprise you all and end up going as a footy player!
