I would like to thank everyone who came along to Heaven Social Dance annual charity night last month. We rose well over $2000 for young people and community groups in Western Sydney.

A particular special thank you goes out to the organisers and all the performers on the night, who did it all free of charge. Thanks also Acacia Catering for sponsoring the night and giving a very kind donation and the Sydney Star Observer for all the publicity and the raffle prizes.

I think a great night was had by all and on behalf of the young people and community groups who will benefit, thank you for your support.

Heaven Social Dance is one of the main GLBT social dances in Western Sydney happening every second month (next dance Saturday, August 14) at Northmead Bowling Club.

This will be the launch of the new show, Desperate Drag Queens. Heaven Social Dance is hosted by Beverly Buttercup who is also known as the voice of the west through local radio program Queer Out West 89.3 on a Monday night 10pm – 12am, staring Gracie Lou, Maxi Shield, Ida Slapda, Laydee Kinmee, the producer Paul and on occasions myself.
