Hume Phoenix has teamed up with ONE Nightclub and will be launching the first ever Club Phoenix on Thursday, October 4. Soon to be open from 8pm-late on the first Thursday of every month, you’re invited to come along and support your local LGBT community and share in the grand opening.

You can also join Hume Phoenix for dinner at the Fabulous Rooftop Bier Garden at the Bended Elbow (Dean St, Albury), where Hume Phoenix Members will receive a 10 percent discount for all group bookings. Everyone is welcome.

REAL Talk will not be held this September, but will return next month on October 25. Please email [email protected] for more information.

There will be a community consultation on Tuesday, October 2 from 6-8pm at the ACON Illawarra Community Space to discuss the future look of ACON’s southern regional services. Please let interested friends and family know and RSVP to 4226 1163 by Friday, September 28.

For those in the region that cannot make it to the face to face consultation, there will be a survey available online for you to have your say. The link will shortly be available on the Illawarra Facebook page and the ACON website. Responses are anonymous and your feedback is essential to ensuring that future services are the best model to reach you locally. Responses need to be in by October 5 so be sure to keep an eye out on the Illawarra Facebook page for the link and spread the word.
