London DJ JC Christopher, who has played at iconic London nights like Heaven and Surge, will play at both Slide and Rising on Oxford St over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend.

He said he was excited about the prospect of returning to Australia so soon after his last visit.

I came across to Australia with friends for the first time in March, for a crazy Mardi Gras of course. I had been planning it for months and before I came across I was booked by Johan, the promoter of Rising, to play over Mardi Gras season. You can tell I fell for Australia in a big way -” I’m already back here only three months later!

Christopher said those who missed him on his last Sydney jaunt could expect a crowd-pleasing set.

My style is very rollercoaster house music -” it’s energetic, emotional and progressive with a few surprises stuck in between. Expect explosive, lively tracks that will keep those feet on the dance floor till dawn, he promised.

I’d like to think the deep passion I have for music comes across in my set. I’m a fairly animated DJ-¦ I enjoy a bit of a dance while I play.
