Gay rugby union clubs the Melbourne Chargers and the Sydney Convicts are set to clash in a battle to win the Purchas Cup next month.
The two clubs will battle it out in Melbourne on September 17 at the Footscray Rugby Union Football Club. Both clubs are going to Manchester,England, in June 2012 to take part in gay rugby union’s premier international event, the Bingham Cup.
