Following the recent Safe Schools debate, Melbourne Girls College has decided to fly a rainbow flag in support of its LGBTIQ students.
A petition supporting the Safe Schools program garnered twice as many signatures as one that opposed it in just two days.
A new, approved bill in Victoria enables allows international same-sex couples to be legally recognised by the state. It will also allow same-sex couples to hold ceremonies when registering their relationships.
