Star doco
A behind-the-scenes look at the Star Observer will feature in the final episode of the Queer Fruits Film Festival this Sunday on community TV channel Aurora. The Star, directed by Renae Moore, has been in the making for three years. Aurora supported the film since inception, donating editing suites free of charge. “The Star is a great film giving fans and audiences a behind the scenes viewing of the Star Observer,” Aurora CEO Phyllisse Stanton said. “With it being one of the country’s longest running gay publications, we are sure all the readers and fans of the popular newspaper will enjoy getting a look at how it is put together.” The Star premieres on Aurora this Sunday, March 3 from 8.30pm.
