It’s going to be a Sunday School to remember at Arq Sydney this Sunday 12 April as singer Zoe Badwi headlines. Natalie Colavito will also perform. DJs include Jimmy Dee, Greg Boladian, Nick Jay, Rob Davis and Sandi Hotrod. Popular drag show Arq Candy will be in the Vortex. Entry is $25 and doors open at 9pm.
Stonewall Hotel will hold a Bunny Boys Party on Thursday 9 April from 8.30pm. This huge Easter party will include jelly shots and canapes for all guests. The night will also see the return of Boylesque with the hottest all-boy show in Sydney. Minnie Coopie, Tora Hymen, Dacoda and Antony will star in the drag show Wicked. On Saturday 11 April, Beyonce G Spot will launch her brand new show, Triple Black, with Mystique Jewel and Natasha Knowles.
While most clubs will be closed on Good Friday, Jupiter’s Nightclub in Richmond will host a western Sydney party for the GLBT community. Catch performances by Miss Emma, Miss Willie, Mischievous Melody and Ruthless RG. Jupiter’s Nightclub is located at 253 Windsor Street, Richmond. Doors open at 9pm. The Elephant Gods and Missing Link will kick off the Easter long weekend on Thursday 9 April with a live performance to launch their monthly residency at The Flinders to be held on the fourth Wednesday of every month. There will be a handful of electric DJs and doors open at 7pm. On Saturday 11 April, the venue will host Nerdbox, an indie, rock, pop and alternative night. DJs include G-Wiz, Toki Doki, Owlz, 16 Tacs and Grumble Grumble. Doors open at 9pm and entry is free.
It’s Twink Town’s Easter party on Thursday 9 April. Free entry for Twinks under 23 or $10 at the door. Major prizes for best dressed twink and non-twink. DJs include Scotty and Dom. Shows by Beyonce G-Spot and doors open at 9pm.
DTPM Sydney will host The Bunny Ball at Tank Night on Easter Sunday 12 April. This edgy gay event will see an array of DJs including Alan Thompson, Venuto, Seymour Butz, Sveta, Mark Murphy and Eddie Coulter. Tickets are $49 + BF from and from Hum Records.
Ruby Trance Volume Seven will be launched at The Midnightshift Club on Sunday 12 April. DJs include Matt Bachl, Ruby and Stephen Simpson. Tickets are $25 from the door and the launch party will kick off at 11pm.
On Easter Sunday 12 April the Trademark Hotel will turn into a gay hotspot with its LoveGaze afternoon. Doors open at 12 noon with DJs Kate Monroe, Alex Taylor, Sista P, Jason Barry and GI Jode.
