TICKETS for the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras 2014 Festival is now on sale, one week after the official after party tickets went on sale.

The annual festival celebrating LGBTI culture from Sydney and around the country is poised to deliver people an array of colourful experiences, with a jam-packed program of arts, cultural and community events running from Sunday, February 9 through to Sunday, March 2.

Festivalgoers now have a chance to buy tickets the first round of talent, icons and events in what is one of the world’s biggest, and most spectacular, celebration of LGBTI pride and diversity.

Returning to the 2014 festival are favourites such as Harbour Party, Sunset Cruise, Mardi Gras Party, Fair Day, Queer Thinking, Women Say Something and The Laneway.

Joining them is a range of new free and ticketed events that include world-class cabaret, theatre and musical performances; the Mardi Gras Film Festival; all-inclusive community, social and youth events; interactive panel discussions; and unforgettable art exhibitions.

The Parade viewing areas are getting a makeover, and brand new parade viewing experiences will be unveiled on December 11.
