Songs from the Red Room – Shakespears Sister
Long since reduced from a duo to a Siobhan Fahey solo project, Shakespears Sister return from an extended hiatus with something of an odds and ends project: marketed as a brand new album, most hardcore Siobhan fans will already be familiar with many of the tracks here (some, like singles Pulsatron and Bitter Pill, have been floating around the blogosphere for more than five years).
Still, it’s a typically solid collection of caustic pop-rock from the whisky-voiced singer.
