Transgender performer Sunny Drake’s one-person show, Other-wise, is a captivating and often funny exploration of issues to do with gender, relationships and identity. Drake uses animation, movement, puppetry, comedy, and multimedia to present his deeply autobiographical work. “While many people may not understand what it’s like to be transgender, most people can relate to aspects of transgender experiences, like worrying that someone you care about won’t be proud of you, or having to find the courage to be who you truly are,” Drake said.
