Elton John is on his way back down under
ELTON John is on his way back to Australia for a national tour in December, along with his band.
The best-selling artist, who happens to be openly-gay, is set to perform the iconic songs that has defined his career under a 12 metre-wide chandelier created by set designer Mark Fisher, as seen in his recent North America tour.
Since starting his career back in 1969, Elton John has performed in over 3500 converts across 80 countries.
“Australia has been one of my favourite countries to tour in ever since my first visit there at the start of my world-wide career in 1971,” he said in a statement.
“The Australian audiences always seem to bring out the best in us, and I am certain there will be many more fantastic evenings when we visit in December.”
