Cut Snake

Cut Snake is the highly physical and theatrical tale about growing up, dying young, and being extraordinary no matter what. It follows Kiki, Bob and Jumper – three best friends who each hold their own fantastic dreams such as wanting to dance the tango on Mount Kilimanjaro with a bearded lady.  Cut Snake played sold out seasons at Sydney and Melbourne’s 2011 fringe festivals.

Vika Bull, one of Australia’s most respected and powerful soul singers, is paying homage to one of soul music’s most influential musicians of all time, Etta James. At Last tracks the story of Etta’s turbulent life through a catalogue of James’ best works. James went on to inspire some of today’s most popular artists including Christina Aguilera, Joss Stone, Amy Winehouse and Adele.

Gay comedian Adam Richard will be co-hosting one of Melbourne’s qualifying heats for the nationwide search for Australia’s funniest new comedian on Sunday, February 24 from 1pm. Raw Comedy’s Victorian Preliminary Finals have already begun too and the popular camp comedian Joel Creasey (pictured) will be hosting the third preliminary final on Tuesday March 5 at the Evelyn Hotel, Fitzroy from 6.30pm.
