Down to the (Sero) Disco
A new event hosted by Positive Life NSW will aim to engage serodiscordant couples in discussion within the social setting of a Sero Disco.
Hosted by Vanessa Wagner on February 12, the Sero Disco will offer discordant couples an opportunity to meet and share in an informal setting.
The dinner forum is a more sociable and informal way of talking and discussing issues that are important to people, event coordinator and Positive Life senior project officer Kathy Triffitt explained.
It will provide an opportunity for couples in positive/negative relationships to find out more about managing HIV risk, communicating tips, starting and maintaining a relationship, disclosure, condoms, relationship agreements, intimacy and keeping relationships hot.
We invited Vanessa Wagner to facilitate because she has an amazing ability to not only engage an audience, but also to get across information in a humorous way. We want to inform people in an open and entertaining way.
