Cheap deals to San Francisco Pride

Cheap deals to San Francisco Pride

An exciting gay travel deal has just been announced, a collaboration between three of Australia’s largest LGBT magazines and Australia’s largest travel agent.

The announcement that a 10-day trip to San Francisco and Los Angeles will depart from Brisbane on June 26 has caused a rush of enquiries to tour organiser Daniel.

Daniel has been organising gay tours for years and this is his most ambitious to date.  Discussions between Sydney Star Observer and San Francisco LGBT Pride March regarding the tour have hinted there is an air of excitement for this year’s parade. Australians are flying in to witness what may well be an all-time record.

Last year more than 1.2 million people lined the streets to watch the San Francisco LGBT Gay Pride parade. That number is around four times bigger than this year’s Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade.

Sydney Star Observer, Southern Star and QNews in Brisbane are sponsoring this gay USA tour. that is an absolute bargain utilising the current cheap airfares that are available while staying at four-star hotels.  The tour is selling at just over half the normal price with departures inclusive of flights and accommodations.

According to Daniel, there has been a great deal of interest generated already.

We would love to be able to fill a jet one day as this is truly a fun destination and we have included heaps of extras to make the trip comfortable and exciting, he said.

Unfortunately we have limited numbers available this year so we have to treat it on a first come, first served basis.

David Graham, aka Farmer Dave, who won his fame via Big Brother, was also thrilled to be a part of the trip.  It has always been one of Dave’s ambitions to see this parade and now one of his dream will come true with other LGBT people.

info: The tour went on sale on 24 April.  Daniel can be contacted on 1300 557 813 or refer to the advertisement in this issue for full details.
