Athletes prepare for Cologne success

Team Sydney members got together on Saturday to talk tactics and strategy at the Cologne Gay GamesĀ  farewell party.

Athletes from a wide variety of sports gathered around to talk about the games, which will see Australia send its largest ever overseas contingent.

They also had a chance to pick up the new Team Sydney uniforms for the event, which were paid for by the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Business Association.

Sydney Star Observer was there to lend its support. You can see photos from the party HERE.

Support the Star Observer… while you still can

LGBTQIA+ media is under threat. Queer content is censored by tech conglomerates who amplify bigotry and push out AI slop — so we receive less financial support than ever.

When our community is muzzled and intolerance intensifies, we need queer media more than ever. Your donation means we can continue paying queer journalists to write queer news.

Don’t rely on the straight lies of big tech – support Star Observer instead and donate now.
