The colourful cocktail that is Simon Doonan’s life gets a second series — and rightly so, given the sharp, snappy writing that made us fall in love with the first. Season two offers more of the same, but with a few guest appearances thrown in from the likes of Dannii Minogue, Elaine Paige and Eurovision winner Dana International, plus more from Simon’s delightfully camp-as-Christmas best boyfriend Kylie (yes, the nickname is what you would expect). The verdict? Easily as funny and engaging as the first series and well worth whatever price you have to pay for the DVD.
