Big Bingay postponed
The planned Christmas in July Big Bingay has been postponed due to World Youth Day.
ACON business development manager Mark Thomas said people who had already booked a table would be offered tickets for the rescheduled Big Bingay, planned for 1 August, or get a full refund if unable to attend the rescheduled date.
Due to the disruption that World Youth Day is causing to the normal social schedules of Sydneysiders, we thought it best to postpone our Christmas in July edition of Big Bingay to ensure that as many people as possible get to join in the fun, he said.
The rescheduled Big Bingay will be held at Paddington RSL under the theme Big Game Big Bingay. This means punters will need to swap their jingle bells for helmets, loincloths, safari suits and animal costumes.
[The postponement is] a good thing because we’ve been wanting to introduce a new theme to our Big Bingay repertoire for some time and now we have the perfect opportunity, Thomas said.
We’ve never had a jungle theme for a Big Bingay before so guests can expect a whole new world of Big Bingay hilarity.
