Larry King joins marriage equality campaign

Former CNN host Larry King has joined the growing number of celebrities to add their faces to the US NOH8 campaign.

King had his photograph taken with the famous alpha-numeric political sign and mouth duct taped, to raise awareness of the need for marriage equality.

He also filmed an advertisement calling on US President Barack Obama to support the calls for same-sex marriage.

NOH8 was intially started as a direct campaign against Proposition 8, a ballot initiative which banned gay marriage in California.

Celebrities such as Rufus Wainwright, Ellen and Portia DeGeneres, Jane Lynch and Martin Sheen have also added their names to the campaign.
