New music from Susan Boyle

She catapulted to international stardom overnight, sold 14 million albums in 14 months and smashed music records around the world. Now Susan Boyle returns with her eagerly awaited third album, Someone To Watch Over Me, due for release in Australia on Friday, November 4 through Sony Music Entertainment Australia.

Someone To Watch Over Me sees Boyle and acclaimed producer Steve Mac reunited to present a contemporary album featuring renditions of Unchained Melody, Both Sides Now, Enjoy The Silence and Mad World.

Original material will include This Will Be The Year by Emeli Sande and Naughty Boy with Josh Kear and Return by Steve Mac and Wayne Hector.

Boyle’s song choices were inspired by the life stories and thoughts from people who wrote letters to her from around the globe.

“There are certain songs that I liked that resonated with the letters that people had written and sent to me,” Boyle said.

“I knew that’s what my record needed to be about. They wrote about grief, love, happy and sad times, it was all deeply moving and the songs mirror the emotion and life experience.”

Someone To Watch Over Me is available for pre-order now ahead of its November 4 release through JB Hi-Fi and Sanity.
