Rihanna’s mini concert

Rihanna appeared on the Today Show to perform a mini-concert of all her Loud era hits, including the latest single California King Bed.

It wasn’t the hitmaker’s first high-profile performance of the song, but it was one of her best, proving that she really can sing when she’s not distracted by props or heavy choreography.

California King Bed is struggling on the US singles chart but it’s already a top five smash in Australia – perhaps due, in part, to its use as the theme song for Nivea’s latest ad campaign.

Never one to rest on her laurels, Rihanna is already preparing her next hit. She has filmed a video for Man Down and has already released it to urban radio stations in America.
