Scissor sisters return to Oz
New York’s campest purveyors of glam-disco, Scissor Sisters, have announced a return to Australian shores.
The group will play an east coast tour in support of their latest pop masterpiece, Magic Hour.
The album has an extensive list of collaborations with the likes of Calvin Harris, Diplo, Pharrell Williams and pint-sized performer Azealia Banks.
Lead singer Jake Shears describes the album as “a sweet joyful mélange of beat-driven future-pop. It style-hops all over the place unabashedly.”
Tickets go on sale 9am Wednesday, August 1, 2012.
