Brisbane showgirl and Australian drag royalty Courtney Act is bringing an extraordinary show home as a part of Brisbane’s Cabaret Festival. The Australian Idol star has been a favourite on the Brisbane and Sydney drag scenes for many years.

Now based in L.A., Act said she couldn’t be more excited to bring her show, Alien of Extraordinary Ability, back to her native Brisbane, as a part of the Cabaret Festival.

“This is the first time I have been involved in the Brisbane Cabaret Festival, being a Brissy boy I can’t wait to come home and be apart of the fun!” Act told the Star Observer.

As for the peculiar name of her show, Act explained that it was a title given to her by the US government when she moved there recently.

“The visa… was titled “Alien Of Extraordinary Ability”, I thought it was a ridiculous name for a visa, but a great name for a show.”

The show features new songs along with some favourites, bigger vocals and spectacular outfits Act has always been known for.

Act’s show will be held at the Judith Wright Centre on Saturday, November 3 at 9pm. Tickets are available at here.
