Sydney five-piece Bridezilla are an odd proposition: a four-woman, one-man band who mix violin, guitar, saxophone and drums into a genre-defying blend of folk, jazz and rock, held together with frontwoman Holiday Carmen-Sparks’ fragile vocals. Thankfully, it all comes together near-flawlessly. One of the most interesting local releases this year.
