Chances are you’re not going to see the Scissor Sisters’ latest film clip on Video Hits.

Invisible Light, the third single from the group’s underrated Night Work album, has been given the big budget video treatment – complete with female nudity, confronting religious symbolism and lots of dead animals.

Directed by Nicolas Mendez, the clip (below) follows the misadventures of a young woman as she is stripped naked, covered in faeces and experimented on by dubious doctors.

But don’t be too put off by that description. It’s beautifully shot and very artistic – just don’t expect to see it on TV!
