Muscle up at Commander

Calling all soldiers of every military rank (from top to bottom!) — Love Muscle returns to Q Bar at 34 Oxford St on Saturday, September 10 for a hot military-themed party called Commander.

The Johan Koury-presented event will run from 11pm-5am, with DJs Kelly Lynch, Gavyn Vincze, George Roussos, Adam Watts and Melbourne DJ Jade Glover playing dark, progressive, deep house across two dance rooms and a dark playroom.

There’s a strict ‘militant combat/soldier’ dress code, with free coatcheck included in the $33 + b/f ticket price, so you can get down to basics once you enter the venue.

Khoury also promised steamy performances from hot uniform-clad dancers, including the gentleman pictured, who will engage in an oh-so-wrong ‘interrogation torture’-themed strip show with another performer.

“He will be in a cage wearing a hell of a lot less [than in the photo], and he won’t be alone in there either. We can’t give more than that away, but let’s just say it’s not for the faint-hearted,” Khoury teased.

With action spread across a ‘dirty minefield’ of labyrinthine dancefloors and a dark room, punters should expect a night of sweaty, dark and hard fun. Strap on your best military boots and equipment and get into the theme of the night.
