REFUGEE SUPPORT
The Red Rattler will host a presentation on Friday, September 11, by Sydney-based Women for Education, Freedom and Textiles about their work in support of refugee and internally displaced women on the Thai-Burmese border to earn a fair living wage from their textiles. Hear about workshops that mix traditional weaving with contemporary design, meet refugees who have resettled in Sydney. Entry is free and doors open at 6.45pm.
