Sydney’s HIV/AIDS Legal Centre (HALC) provides free legal services to people affected by HIV. Last week, it launched new resources that explain crucial and often complex legal issues in simple English. Federal Health Minister Tanya Plibersek attended the launch of resources including Unravelling the Law: A guide for women living with HIV/AIDS in NSW, Positive Migration Guide: Immigration for HIV positive people, and posters on legal issues around insurance, privacy and discrimination.
